The crystal structure of rutile titanium dioxide is rhombus, with a higher refractive index and higher tinting power. In terms of the "hue" of white light, due to the relatively low reflectivity of rutile titanium dioxide in the purple region, rutile titanium dioxide has a "yellowish" hue. Anatase titanium dioxide has a relatively pure white color due to its relatively high reflectivity in the violet-ultraviolet region.
